Enhance the learning experience with a workshop tailored to meet your needs
ITUE Leaders will work with you to develop customized workshops that introduce PBL and other pedagogies to your faculty or organization. Our most commonly requested workshops include:
- Introduction to PBL: participants experience problem-based learning by working through a problem, and then constructing one of their own. We can cover topics such as integrating writing and team skills, mapping a problem’s issues to learning outcomes, and managing PBL in large classes or under challenging circumstances.
- Advanced problem writing: a workshop for developing problems, with participants writing from good design recommendations and a rubric for evaluating problems.
- Introduction to Team-based learning: A workshop that leverages the power of teams to ensure individual and group accountability
- Flipped pedagogy
- Classroom design
